is like a bride,
adorned with finest lace,
intricately woven from only
the most delicate,
exceptional silken threads.
Though she is beautiful on the outside,
the lace,
woven purposefully,
with careful, loving hands,
allows a glimpse
of a deeper beauty,
one that can only be uncovered
if one is willing
to put forth the effort
to push back the veil,
to catch sight of the exquisite,
hidden jewel,
the author's deepest,
most precious thoughts.
